An integrated event design system for print and motion

For Remanufacture (assembled by Azumuta) at the Wintercircus in Ghent, Studio Fox developed the visual design of all event assets, including both print and video.

Studio Fox translated the corporate identity into a complete event experience, in which print, spatial branding and motion form a single, consistent visual system. The aim was to powerfully extend the identity across all touchpoints, from signage and visitor flow to screen content and speaker introductions.

We took as our starting point the event’s thematic framework: European manufacturing as the foundation for technological innovation.

This content was translated into a visual direction that is not merely decorative, but carries meaning. The old VCR-inspired visual noise and glitches became a metaphor for transition, signals and imperfection within industrial systems that are evolving towards innovative intelligence in this sector.

We defined a visual hierarchy that works within a large event space such as the Wintercircus, with clear legibility, strong typography and graphic elements that are both functional and atmospheric.

This phase laid the foundation for a modular system that connects print, signage and motion.

Visual energy that enhances speakers and content throughout the programme

Event Signage & Print

The printed materials were designed to serve as a functional layer within the event experience. Each item played a distinct role in navigation, information provision and wayfinding within the venue.

Lanyards, totems, table cards and beach flags were developed as a single cohesive system, with a focus on consistency in typography, colour scheme and layout. The emphasis was on quick readability, a clear hierarchy and visual calm within a busy event setting.

Video & Motion Assets

In addition to the physical displays, a series of motion graphics was developed to support the event on screens and during sessions. These video elements brought rhythm and structure to the programme and ensured a consistent visual flow between the various segments.

Speaker introductions, transitions and key visuals were designed using a single motion language, ensuring the event felt like a cohesive whole and the programme flowed seamlessly from one part to the next.

Use & Engage

A consistent on-site event experience

At Remanufacture, all the elements came together to create a cohesive overall experience. The printed signage ensured clear navigation and brand recognition, whilst the video assets visually enhanced the stage programme.

Speakers were professionally introduced with personalised intro videos, ensuring a clear structure and a smooth transition between sessions. At the same time, the motion visuals supported the branding throughout the entire event.

The result was a consistent and well-thought-out visual presence that reinforced Remanufacture and offered visitors a clear, professional experience.
