Ballistix
UX/UI design - Web & mobile development - Photography - Pitch deck
From a detailed print style to a scalable digital experience
BallistiX had a strong offline identity. Our brief: to translate that style into a consistent online experience using a compact design system, a clear information architecture and a site that is easy to expand. The website needed to immediately explain what BallistiX solves, back this up with case studies, and make it easy to arrange an exploratory meeting.
Imagine & define
Clear narrative, low barrier to entry
We have refined the core proposition and highlighted it in the hero image. The approach is straightforward: demonstrate what BallistiX solves through case studies and a clear invitation to discuss. This process links strategic work to implementation via Customer Strategy and concrete content themes via Content Strategy.
Design & build
Design
Compact design system for online use
The existing print style has been adapted into a digital brand language featuring colour, typography, iconography and components. Ample white space and subtle micro-interactions create a calm interface that effectively showcases the content. The result is a recognisable visual brand identity and consistent UX/UI design that the team can easily expand upon in the future.
Photography
Organised and curated, ready for the web and pitch deck
We planned, coordinated and curated the photographic approach based on shot lists and the desired context. The images depict real people and situations and are visually consistent with the digital system. All assets were delivered in formats suitable for the web and presentations, accompanied by simple guidelines for reuse.
Wireframes & flow
Focus on the proposition and evidence
The information architecture has been redesigned around three key pillars: problem and approach, case studies, and intake. Wireframes lead from value propositions to relevant case studies and consistently conclude with a call to action. Navigation and layout ensure the user journey remains concise and predictable. This step links structure and behaviour through information architecture, journey insights through the customer journey, and screen design through UX/UI design.
Development
Reusable blocks in the CMS
The site has been built using a component-driven approach. Case studies, areas of expertise and news items have been set up as content types that the team can create and combine themselves. Page load speed, semantic markup and accessibility have been taken into account, laying the groundwork for searchability and maintenance.
Promote & measure
Pitch deck
Sales materials that enhance the website
Instead of social media channels, a pitch deck has been developed that follows the structure of the website: value proposition, case studies and a call to action. Copy, imagery and components have been reused so that the online experience and sales conversation reinforce one another.
Approach
Why is this a typical Studio Fox approach?
Small teams with direct lines of communication. Reusable systems that keep administration to a minimum. Transparent decision-making and a site that scales without unnecessary complexity. This case study demonstrates how strategy, UX/UI and development come together to form a seamless, scalable whole.
